Hello Cedar Woods Families and Friends!
Our Cedar Woods team is continuing to follow the “Stay Safe, Stay Home order” and no visitors are permitted to enter the Community at this time. We continue to deliver meals to Residents apartments and activities to keep them busy.
Recently, with a Cedar Woods Team Member to assist, our Residents can leave their apartment with a surgical mask. We do take the Residents outdoors in groups of 7-10 and keep them 6 feet apart to enjoy walks throughout the hallways and some small group activities in the Activity Room (1 Resident per table!). The weather has given our Residents a chance to enjoy the springtime and our beautiful courtyard! We do hope you visit our FACEBOOK page to enjoy the photos!
However, we are in need of some homemade cloth masks for our Residents! We need cloth masks that we can write their names on them – so the material does not need to have any print, just a nice solid color! (The surgical masks are great as well, but the Residents have been throwing them away! So we are reaching out to all those who sew! HELP! . . . but we could use a stash of surgical masks if you can find them!) We have 100 Residents who need your help, so please put your sewing fingers to good use! If you are not the ‘crafty type’, then please just purchase a couple cloth face masks for your loved one/Resident and we will make sure they receive it and wear it!
Thank you in advance! Please stay home and stay safe! We are all in this together!
CEDAR WOODS MANAGEMENT TEAM!
